:/ meh, I think I mentioned this before, but I feel this is in a way, loosing ourselves. I don't mind joining forces with other players, but this is something like remaking the city entirely.

Seems like a good ratio, I get that you would want to let people know you agree with them but after 10 ups it seems a bit excessive, guess it could be changed if it was REALLY necessary.

I would like to chip in how awesome this plugin is and would also like to hear what admins think of adding it to P? Sorry if that has already been discussed. But again awesome plugin and works very well as I have played with it!

What tom means jala is that there would be hours upon hours of messages being broadcasted (90% of them being cutterwills haha) if the admins designated specific time to not only add them to the broadcast list, but then play them. The best you could do is just invite individual players there or just advertise it every two hours or so.

And on Jala's note I would again say how nerd would lose at least half the player base if not more due to this bizarre change. Tekkit is fun for about 10 minutes for players who actually enjoy minecraft where you have to build. Again I am not an admin so I do not know the specifications of nerd.nu's servers, but I know that what you are proposing would be some specialty type server that are not known for their well rounded durability or long lasting parts. It may seem like a good idea at first, but try to think of every possible problem that would happen and you begin to see why nerd is perfectly fine running simple vanilla servers. Please do not argue with me about the specifications of servers as I literally work with them as a living and know that no server could simply use 4 gigs of RAM pulling Tekkit and every other modification you just listed. All in all, decent idea, but very unrealistic.

I don't see any reason to remove it. If we did remove it someone would have to spend HOURS fixing them and clarifying every possible scenario that could happen, which is not reasonable at all. Even the police have similar things to this in which case a person can be arrested for something that is not clearly stated. It's really just a simple clause that allows nerd.nu admins to have the option to fallback on the rule that was broken.

Haha I'm sorry, I'm reading how tekkit can be run lightly and still laughing. There is a reason they call it the CPU eater of JAR's. I'll just give my example of running it on a server with 4 gig RAM and unlimited broadband but still could not hold it. It's just too much unless you have a specific server setup for it. Also there would go half our fan base because it's no longer vanilla. I think we are fine as it is.

Makes sense, china holds about 70% of the worlds spam and DDOS traffic so blocking on the nerd.nu side is probably for the better

Alright well you if the techs are reading all these suggestions they at probably getting grey hair... Some of these ideas I really do like such as the NO more holes in the world! Bloody hell that drove me insane, and then the giving players items to start with would be nice to cause last CTF my team had almost nothing. Another thing I would like to see is some kind of puzzle dungeon with mob fights and maybe even PvP. To put it into reality the dungeons would not be super hard as there are multiple plugins and world edit files for dungeons that are very light and very fun and could be a nice team building type thing if it you were to add teams to race/fight each other to get to the end of it for major prizes torwards CTF. Anyways I am excited for Saturday!

The point that dob is trying to make is that wither skellies are not spawning correctly, because you may see one in about 3 hours of searching. I do believe totemo told me he was going to look into that and try to fix it. As far as the trade signs, I think that would make it too easy, but the spawning rates do need to be fixed.

There are multiple plugins such as "mobrage" (or something similar to this) which causes mobs to travel and spawn together and can make them much more interesting to fight! As far as your idea c45y that was discussed in irc, did you consider what would happen if I had perms in Seneca but then blew up some random citizens house with a creeper by accident?

Yeah definitely would like to see more volcanoes next rev! Plus some just normal vanilla with slightly custom areas and maybe more spread out oceans would be nice!

I know your feel Luke, I used to live near Coors field here and it was about the same. However on another note I am glad to hear you are not taking one of the "breaks" that most other staff members take when they feel what you feel. I totally get your being worn out thing though, I feel the same sometimes. Anyways as for a question I would simply ask what is your favorite past-time, aside from Minecraft of course. Thanks!

and aside from helping buzzie ego, this is related to another current post on here, but do you think the auto locking chests on PvE are a real possibility or just a maybe?

How does one become a buzzie? Does it require certain skills? Seriously though, how do you get this awesome?

I have seen this work well before on other servers, specifically ones I help maintain, and it really is more pros then cons in this case. The LWC spam is a problem not usually seen, and people feel more comfortable around putting things in chests.
